This whiskey is crafted by aging Michter's US1 Sour Mash in new charred American oak barrels, followed by a secondary maturation in specially toasted barrels made from 18-month air-dried wood. The toasting process enhances the whiskey's rich flavors, imparting notes of honey, burnt sugar, and citrus spice, complemented by a smoky vanilla finish reminiscent of a cozy campfire.
