It starts with premium Japanese plums (ume), then is fortified/blended with whisky from Matsui using soft mountain water from Mt. Daisen. The result is a smooth, fruit-sweet liqueur with a whisky-influence, very approachable, perfect to drink neat, over ice, or mixed with soda.Â
