Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask Matured 2023 Scotch Whisky presents a unique and rich expression from Islay's farm distillery, Kilchoman. This exceptional release is the distillery's first to be fully matured in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks from the renowned Bodega José y Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain. Each of the 61 casks used has imparted deep, sweet, and complex flavors to the whisky, which has been matured for a minimum of five years—a period that, while brief, perfectly harnesses the intense richness of the PX casks.

Tasting Experience:

Nose: Opens with sweet sultanas and raisins, complemented by a rounded peat smoke. Underlying layers of licorice and hints of citrus sweetness add complexity and allure.

Palate: A rich tapestry of flavors including brown sugar, malty sweetness, and orange peel meld with dark chocolate and waves of sherry sweetness, creating a luxurious and enveloping experience.

Finish: Concludes with notes of chocolate-coated raisins and mixed spices, while oak smoke and the lingering sweetness of PX sherry round out a memorable and lasting finish.
