Aroma

Some common aroma/tasting descriptors:

• Honeyed sweetness, wax, caramel, vanilla. 

• Dried fruits: raisins, figs, maybe apple or red apple tones. 

• Soft oak, vanilla pod, sherry wood influence. 

• Light smoke or peat, but gentle (“wisps” rather than harsh). Leather, subtle tobacco, cedar.

• Some citrus / zest in the background (orange, perhaps).

Palate

Silky, creamy mouthfeel. Quite smooth and luxurious. Layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts (hazelnut, almond), toffee, sweet caramel. 

Honey and vanilla are prominent. Some dried fruit (figs, raisins). A hint of orange or citrus peel adds brightness.

The smoke/peat is present but as a background note — it adds complexity, not dominance. Oak and wood spice (maybe pepper, mild cinnamon).

Finish

Long, warming finish.

Lingering notes of smoke, oak, spice, perhaps a final sweetness of honey / caramel. 

There’s a refined dryness as it fades, balanced with the residual sweetness and gentle smoke.
