• Release Series: Part of Kilchoman’s 20th Anniversary Cask Series, this expression is a vatting of five Oloroso sherry butts filled between 2008 and 2009, all matured on Islay. Bottled in April 2025 at 52.7% ABV, non‑chill filtered with natural color, and limited to approximately 3,153 bottles.

Tasting Notes & Characteristics

Nose (Aroma)

Rich and deeply sherried, the aroma delivers clove, cinnamon, sultanas, and molasses, enhanced by coastal freshness, subtle sea spray, and peat smoke. As it opens further, notes of salted dark chocolate and spiced fruitcake emerge.

Palate & Texture

The palate is bold and multi-layered:

• Dark fruit flavors like cherries, figs, and cassis

• Warm black pepper, salted liquorice, and gentle peat smoke

• A savory, maritime brine balances the rich sherry sweetness

• Lush and robust in texture—coats the palate with sophistication. 

Finish

A refi ned, long finish featuring sooty peat, dark chocolate, iodine, and dry tobacco, with lingering salted oak, sherry embers, and a briny echo.
