This fourth installment in Pinhook’s “Collaboration Series” is a high-proof, limited-edition rye whiskey crafted in partnership with celebrated cocktail bar veteran Neal Bodenheimer. The release features a rye-forward mash bill of 60% rye, 20% corn, and 20% malted barley, bottled at 121.9 proof.

In this edition, Pinhook sought to merge exceptional barrel sourcing with the hospitality and cocktail expertise of Bodenheimer, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. 

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Opens with fresh sweet grass, butterscotch, tobacco leaf and nutmeg. 

• Palate: Rich brûléed sugar, baked pear, spearmint, and clove emerge, backed by the robust rye-spice structure. 

• Finish: Long and warming, with lingering oak, savory spice, dark caramel and herbal rye character.
