• Brûlée Royale is a blended-malt Scotch whisky (so: malt whiskies blended together, not a single-malt) from Compass Box.

• The bottle is 700 mL, and it’s bottled at 49% ABV, not chill-filtered, and with natural color. 

• It’s a limited-edition release (in 2025) — only 8,556 bottles produced worldwide.

• The blend is composed of several single malts from different distilleries and cask backgrounds — combining for a dessert-inspired flavor profile (see below). 

Tasting Note

• Nose: Crème brûlée — rich vanilla custard, scorched sugar, poached pear, fresh vanilla pods. Some reviewers also note red apple, steamed milk, candle-wax or pastry-like notes. 

• Palate: Thick, velvety, dessert-like — clotted cream or custard, honeyed malt, broiled peaches or baked fruit, custard pastry, tarte tatin, hints of cheesecake/ Danish pastry / sugar brittle. 

• Finish: Silky and lingering, with notes of panna cotta or milk-cream, gentle nutmeg or warm spice, burnt toffee, even banana-split–style sweetness.
