Winemaker Notes: The Tempest was the first proprietary wine Realm released, so named for the “perfect” storm of three grape varietals that became available at the same time, from the same vineyard, in 2002 - the year of our tumultuous beginning.
A silky and elegant wine with aromas of sultry fruit, intriguing florals and a dash of spice. Layers of plums, dark cherry and pomegranate, punctuated with notes of dried cassis and nutmeg. This wine has a lush and round core, followed by soft refined tannins that crescendo in the finish.
